Welcome to Patrick’s Cove!
We purchased the property in July of 2018 in hopes of building memories with our 3 young children. We had rented the property right next door the previous summer and developed a fondness for the neighbor’s adorable bungalow. And when it came up for sale we knew we had to jump on it. We fell instantly in love. As avid skiers, winter use was the initial motivation. But sharing it with others to enjoy during the summer months is an added bonus and a pleasure.
The name comes from an inside joke between us (something to do with Ryan’s receding hairline - ha!) and the kids just latched onto it when we wanted to come up with a name for our new special place. Ryan had no chance of winning that argument.
Our cabin, or “crayon box”, as the kids affectionately call it, has become our respite from the rest of the world. It is a practice in minimalism (something we could all use more of these days, am I right?) from the moment you walk in the door. But its smallness is also what allows us more breath. We wish the same for you. So please come experience it for yourself!
